In short: Excellent organisation. Good support from spectators, marshalls and other runners. Quite an undulating course overall but a good downhill stretch to finish. The T shirt was excellent. I'll be back next year.

In short: One of the best ...
In full: Not the easiest of courses but I have one of the runs of the year. The organisation, atmosphere, and the run through Clumber Park inspire good times. The downhill last mile also helps!

In short: An excellent and well orgainsed event
In full: As my 1st Half Marathon, an excellent standard of organisation and atmosphere. A difficult course certainly at 11 miles - not another hill ! but overall good scenery, weather was good for running and all people friendly and supportive. Got PB for distance as well - Bonus

In short: Superb race, well organised, inexpensive, lovely route. I've got nothing to compare it to as it's my first half but I loved it and will definitely do it again next year.
In full: T-shirt was great though not sure it + a snack bar really count as or need a goody bag but that's not a big deal. The race itself was brilliant.

I quite liked the fact that the start was gently uphill as it stopped me going off too fast. And there's something nice about getting the uphills out of the way early and knowing the rest of the race is mostly flat. Though saying that I didn't think the uphills were too bad - more slope than hill really.
The ending being downhill was a real tester for me as I was exhausted but had no excuse not to lengthen my stride and really try to put a fast last mile in.

In short: A well organised race with nice scenery in Clumber Park
In full: The Marshalls were very efficient and there were plenty of crowds to cheer people on. The t-shirt was great!

In short: Awesome organisation, smashed my PB, great autumn race
In full: Clumber looked great, lovely Autumnal day, good race to round off a year. First 4 miles up and down straight away from the town, then long gentle hills through the park. I knocked a good chunk off my PB- will be back next year.
