In short: Very hilly more than undulating so a challenging course decent goody bag and this year the tshirt was fantastic long sleeve breathable material probably as 25th race anniversary. Nice touch with 'Guy Fawkes' starting the race.
In full: Only problem I find which is common at most races is lack of toilets for the female competitors which was a shame as otherwise well organised.

In short: Great race & lots of chocolate at the end
In full: First time doing this race and certainly not the last. Had all the things in it that I like in a race and even included my favourite running surface, the track through the woods. Am currently working my way through all the chocolate in the goody bag. Well done organisers.

In short: Tough as ever but I love it
In full: Well the hills don't get any easier.... This is a tough race but it is one of my favourites. You get a fantastic goody bag and t shirt for your efforts and the views in places make the route so worth while. Thanks to all the lovely marshalls. I would have said thank you more often if I could have caught my breath!

In short: The hills are alive...
In full: Love this race - third year on the trot and now down to 85 minutes. The uphills are tough - but the downhills are glorious. Well organised and cheerful event. The marshalls are always really encouraging even on a dull cold day like today. Thank you and well done to Nidd Valley. I'll be back for number four next yea for sure.

In short: Fabulously hilly
In full: More toilets wouldn't go amiss and was very slow and congested for the 1st mile... but that aside was an incredibly enjoyable challenge! The atmosphere was brilliant, friendly runners, encouraging crowds, excellent marshalling and a bonanza goody bag at the finish! Will definitely be in next years race calendar!

In short: wasn't looking forward to this race as had a calg injury and then flu leading up to it, then when I saw the hills on the race info at the start my heart sunk, but what a good run, its hard cause its hilly but there was good banter between the runners
In full: As I was saying in the on-line summary, there was good banter between the runners and loads of support going up the long hills. would definiatly do it again, its a good challenge for anyone that like to push them self. Little unoraganised at the start and a bit crowded for about the first one and half miles, but this stops you sprinting off and makes sure you save some energy for the hills. I enjoyed this one as much as Ripon 10 earlier in the year.
