In short: Brilliant!!!
In full: I'm sure some will complain about the few short bottlenecks waiting to get through gates and over stiles etc but for me it was a welcome rest, but thankfully not long enough to start getting too cold. It was a bit odd being beaten up one of the steeper climbs by the dog who was racing. (Likewise i'm glad I got out of the hot tub before the dog got in!)Overall, a fantastic, but crazy, experience!

In short: Wet, Dirty, Hard, Painful, Slippy and Fun - EXCELLENT!
In full: A hard muddy wet race that's very challenging.
Never seen so many smiling faces. Most simply a fun adventure. The best race I've run. A few pinch points caused congestion but gave a chance to catch breath and share a rare talk or joke with those around you.
Well organised and sensible goody bag to allow refuelling.
It's not for the faint hearted but I'm hooked.

In short: Wonderful wallowingnabout
In full: Not as wet as last year but the mud had a cetain viscocity and drag factor as I tried to get out of the lake without the aid of a rope.

Either the runners with me had major personal problems or we were all covered in cow s***. I suspect it was the latter

Tremendous fun and Bitton RR should be very very proud of themselves

Cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning

The race deserves to be in the Runners World top 10 races IMO

BTW Annejacko: it was probably me in the hot tub !!!

In short: Absolutely fabulous and great fun!!!
In full: My first off X-C run and absolutely loved it!
More mud and water than I ever thought possible but great laugh (plus a tough challenge, epecially the long narrow tough hill)
Can't wait for next year!
