In short: I hope charity gets a decent % of the entrance fee. Surprisingly pleasant scenery and good mix of standards. Didn't enjoy the hills though! False finishes nasty too!

In short: Brilliant weather made this a really good event: hills were pretty deceptive, though!

In short: My first half marathon, was well organised and I'll be back next year.
In full: Was quite a tough course for a first timer, but managed to get round in under 2 hours (my target) though I'm in pain this morning!

In short: My first proper half marathon, are they all that hilly!?
In full: Good fun, good atmosphere, the false finishes were a little unfair though...

In short: Challenging and enjoyable for first time half marathon, good race for moving up from 10K
In full: This was an enjoyable race for me; the hills where a challenge but the scenery was nice. There was a fair mix of talent from very fast to very slow which helps if you are making a move from 10K running to half-marathon. Overall I found this to be an enjoyable experience.

In short: Good for stamina work with the hills, not one for a personal best. Chips for time would be good.

In short: Plenty of fast downhill stretches to offset the three hills on the route
In full: Well organised race though the first mile can be a little congested. The three climbs are fine once you know where they are, and there are plenty of long downhill stretches. Don't get fooled by the sight of the finish line as you enter the park.

In short: Great weather; good hills; mostly nice scenery
In full: I couldn't help thinking the mile markers were a bit off; particularly the first one; plus a couple in the early second half of the race. Good fun though and managed a good time. Thanks.
