In short: More scenic than you might think
In full: A well organised and friendly half with a couple of nasty hills but not as tough as the profile suggests. Always good to see Mick 'n Phil.

In short: Excellently organised race
In full: Cannot rave highly enough about this race - the organisation from start to finish was excellent. The course is a nice mix of interesting town running and picturesque countryside.

Only downside is that there are no showers, which is a bit of a nightmare when you have travelled a fair way.

In short: Hills just kept on coming
In full: Lovely race, organisation went very well - thanks to marshals, the hills were plenty and challenging no chance of turning on auto-pilot running. It was good to have time clock at half-way point. improved my Pb. Loved the finish running into the park where it all begin. Those hills in the countryside deserved a medal for the finishers. t-shirt will be archived.

In short: I love this race
In full: Very well organised. Improvements for next year are;
- sports drink in cups (you can still have a branded banner) or redesign the openings as I had to open by pulling with my teeth
- delays collecting baggage needs to be sorted (this was a recurring theme in the 2009 reviews so not sure why this hasn't been sorted)
- medal/buff or mug - the cheap t-shirt has been binned

In short: Great race, well organised, cheeky hills but very scenic
In full: Can't fault the organisation; it all ran like clockwork. Course takes you out into the countryside which is nice. Some challenging hills but lovely bits through the woods. Nice t-shirt, but no medal unfortunately.
