In short: Probably the best half marathon in the world
In full: *Kelly Holmes starting the race
*Beautiful scenary
*Great support and very friendly field (great race for beginners)
*Medal by Kelly Holmes at the end (providing you get within 2 hours!)
*By far the best organised and most generous (in terms of value for money) race I have taken part in.

In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: I've left it a long time after the race to post a review but just to say It's a nice scenic race, well organised and the medal from Dame Kelly Holmes is a very nice touch indeed. There is one section with a tough long hill but the rest of the course isn't too bad. The race is quite a nice size too.

In short: A challenging and hugely enjoyable event with great organisation
In full: This was my third time running the Tunbridge Wells half, every year for that brief period that I run up the big hill I question why I am back, but this really is one of my favourite all-time races.

Challenging course, with great scenery and really good organisation. A local event (for me) that I enjoy being part of. (I do agree with the comment below re. tshirt sizes, last years was on the big side, this year on the tight side (or is more a reflect on my comparable levels of of training!).

Thank you TW Harriers for making this such a great race, year after year. Great atmosphere, and what an experience to run with the likes of Liz Yelling in my home town - even if I was 45 minutes or so behind her.

In short: Another great time!
In full: This was my second year doing this race, and once again, it was a fantastic time! Last year's race was a great experience despite the horrible weather (including a PR), and I was hoping it would be as good this year (the experience I mean; wasn't wishing for the rain again!)...and it was! I even PR'ed again! I'm definitely hoping to keep this race part of my yearly schedule. I'm a slow runner, but there's still great support out there, even at the back of the pack. While I liked the energy drink last year, I enjoyed not having to carry that around this year and getting the gel instead. I do wish the gel hadn't already been opened for me though, as I would've liked to hold onto it a bit longer.

My only slight disappointment was that my shirt ended up too small (I picked up the same size as last year--I love the way last year's fits--and despite them being labelled the same size, this year's is cut smaller). My fault for not even considering trying it on though.

In short: Tough, but great fun
In full: I ran Tunbridge Wells both this year (lovely weather) and last year (freezing, pouring) and thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. The atmosphere is great. The course is challenging but really lovely. I'll do it again next year for sure.

In short: Great race, nice to run all that way & have Kelly Holmes put a medal around your neck. Tough hills, but good weather & very welcoming for my first Half Marathon.
