In short: Mud then hills
In full: Liked the new section with the rope - the extra mud this year made the course more challenging.
Getting a bit pricey though at £16 on the day.

In short: My first time at the Terminator and I'll be back!
In full: I'd heard a lot about this race and wanted to give it a go for some time but unfortunately it had always clashed with the Bourton 10k. Problem solved this year as I didn't get in.

Really enjoyed the event and glad I chose to do it. Certainly not a PB race, more one to use as a good training run and for enjoyment.

More mud than I expected and very nearly lost my trainers early on! Must remember to secure them with duct tape in future. The hills were certainly tough, but the views from the top made the climbs worthwhile and gave me a salutary reminder just how lucky I am to live in a part of the world that boasts such wonderful scenery.

Very friendly atmosphere among the runners and fantastic support from the marshals. Lovely selection of cakes and very impressed with the car parks provided for such a large number of attendees. Liked the pre-race briefing.

Well done PVRC for a great event - I wouldn't be surprised if I chose this over Bourton in future.

In short: Great way to spend a Sunday
In full: Fantastic weather helped make another memorable Terminator. Slightly modified course was an improvement, if longer. Enough clayey mud to slow you down, but not too much. 4 Hills too steep to run with great views from the top.

In short: The best race I've ever done - I'll be back! Tee hee . . .
In full: Wow, what a great race. Great atmosphere and the most beautiful route you could ever wish to run with plenty of mud to keep you amused. The breathtaking scenery distracted you from the evilness of the terrain but the feeling of completing the race in good form is simply the best. I am still incredibly chuffed with myself for getting round and still having a smile on my face up the last hill! The 4 hills were calf twanging, thigh burning, lung busting fun. Can't wait to do it again!

In short: Fun in the mud and on the slopes
In full: Not done this for a few years and now knew what I missed . Slippy, slidey first few miles then the fun really begins up and down the steep chalk escarpment four tough times . Then the run in to "the shoe wash" (cold knee deep river) and another 1/2 mile to the finish. Great event if you don't mind the slopes.

In short: Hills, mud and views
In full: Not a PB race, but taken steady there is plenty of time to admire the scenery. Great fun and well organised. Very friendly cheering marshalls. Well worth the 150 mile round trip. Definitely one to put on the calender for next year.
