In short: Interesting location, let down by slightly dull sectors, and made a little harder by the rather hot sun!

In short: Very very very hot!
In full: Nice flat race but no hills to catch your breath on. I was after a PB but due to the heat and the extra length didn't not quite manage it. Well worth it though to tell everyone that you ran the Top Gear track!!

In short: Expensive compared to other 10K races, but worth every penny
In full: Very well organised and good facilities, which make the expense justified. The race track was very flat and fast, ideal for a beginner or someone doing their first 10k after a shorter race. The visible km marking flags made it easy to pace yourself. The scenery was good too. If you like variation and hills, this is not the race for you. However, if you are after a PB and don't mind running around a track twice, I would recommend this race. 10/10

In short: Well organised & spectator friendly
In full: Plenty of parking & traffic (& stig) free race track for running! Nice for spectators to see you twice & kids don't need to be tethered at a roadside getting bored. Well organised & BEST loos!
However, although flat & PB potential it's terribly boring to run.

In short: A new PB, so gets the big thumbs up from me!
In full: Really well organised, great for the hubby & kids to spectate, and a PB to boot! Really enjoyed this and will be back next year to break the new PM :o)
Thank you to the organisers - the first time that I have only had to queue 5 mins for the loos and they were clean and functioning too....

In short: My 1st 10K and I really enjoyed it - only problem was being able to view the whole course from most points which was a bit sould destroying for the 1st 5K!
In full: It was nice to run past Gambon corner and see some of the Top Gear cars - the boing 747 also looked very impressive/intimidating when you got round to complete the 1st lap and then again near the finish. The people were friendly enough and it was a nice first run to have for a short fat bloke like me who only started running in December to try and help my bad back.

Worth the journey - I enjoyed it.

In short: Well organised race, very flat so good PB potential - too hot this year though !
In full: A well organised race, completely flat, lots of space for spectators (My Kids loved it)

I managed a good PB , so I am happy, but I did over do it a little, despite drinking loads of water after the race for 5 mins I felt faint and sick - maybe low blood sugar or just the intense heat.

I will be back next year to try and beat my new PB, but I will take it a bit easier if it is hot :-)
