In short: A very enjoyable well organised friendly run.
In full: First time I've done this 10K and was a little apprehensive after reading some of last years reveiws. They have obviously learnt from their mistakes. It was organised superbly and I will definitley be back next year.If you want an easy, friendly, no problem Sunday morning 10k then try this one.

In short: A good run!
In full: Yes start was down the side road so a bit cramped, but you just edge to the front if you want to be there! Not really a 'fun' run as only spectators are at the finish, because it's mostly residential you dont expect more! I pb'd by 3mins so very happy! Was labelled as slightly hilly, but one slight climb, and 2 more within residential roads made this a pretty straight forward run! Finish was a bit cramped once you got over the line!

In short: Running round local estate & roads not closed so be careful
In full: Couple of cars dangerously near & we all gravitated to pavement. Finish banner/gantry wasn't the finish!

In short: testing open course with a few left and rights
In full: enjoyable run on a fairly open course. Need to do something about the confined start and the hairpin finish. Marshals were in place but static and non-vocal in the main. Couple of stiff hills which were testing. All in all a reasonable race.

In short: Nice race, faster 2nd half, slightly chaotic start and finish, all for a good cause!
In full: Lovely day but windy. Ample free parking at the hospital. Tight start, I was well back and could only walk to the starting line. Couple of small climbs in the first half, faster flatter second half, finish line had been moved ;-) Not many people out but still felt cheery.. BTW felt fast, PB by nearly 3 minutes!!

In short: A few unexpected hills!
In full: Found this hard work... thought I knew the area well so was surprised at some of the hills. Felt sorry for those that were still running when it started to sleet! Handy run though as I am a local.

In short: Nice morning jaunt for locals
In full: My folks only live at the end of road. So I wasn't phased by the lack of facilities. I probably wouldn't have travelled for this. The fact that all the money goes direct to the hospital, I would rather they saved on fancy extras. A free goody bag is always nice though!
