In short: Well worth coming home for!
In full: Excellent friendly race - came home from Manchester to do it and would definitely do it again.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Duncan Gooderstone - my thoughts are with you all.

In short: Excellent race, very well organised, great goodie bag at the end.
In full: I think this has to be the best race I've been to so far. Great for all levels of runners, great for spectators and what an atmosphere! *Very* well organised especially considering its the first one - excellent leaflets sent out too. The goodie bag at the end was fantastic especially considering the price paid to enter - puts other runs to shame! Hard to fault but not impossible - reduce the bottlenecks and have water nearer the finish and this race will be spot on. Well done to everyone who participated - hope to be back next year.

In short: Very enjoyable race - nice route, very few problems
In full: Enjoyed the course, very good atmosphere and an excellent attendance for an inaugural event.
A bit slow through the park at the start and some km markers missing but excellent overall. Great medal!

In short: Nice course well organised but missing some km markers
In full: Very good race for an inaugural event, few problems with km markers and poor wheelchair athletes couldn't finish because of the steep grass slope at end. Hopefully despite the tragic death they will organise this event again next year

In short: If you weren't there you missed a great day!
In full: I can only reiterate the comments of the other reviewers. I made a two-hour trip to take part and was rewarded with a friendly atmosphere, good marshalling, totally closed roads and the best finisher's medal I've ever received! I hope this race becomes a regular event in the calendar.

In short: Excellent run! Well organised except the bottlenecks! Would have liked water handed out at the finish instead of having to hunt for it among the crowds! A brilliant course & good value! C ya next year!

In short: For £7, chipped, medal and a t-shirt, other races should take note, a bargain !
In full: Excellent organisation, great course (a bit soft in places) well marshalled, great commentator , i'm struggling to think of anything bad ! For the price it makes me wonder why we pay £10 upwards for less.
