In short: Brilliant organisation - bag drop, water, post race massage - clockwork
In full: Bag drop was best ever, guys walking round dishing out tags. Water stations all over the course. Ice lollies, water and a t-shirt at the end. Quick massage and your ready to jog home.

In short: Well organised again.
In full: The slight changes to the route are a great improvement. The route has changed so much in the last 5 years and, in my opinion, always for the better. Thanks to the marshalls for their encouragement and enthusiasm.

In short: Hot and Hilly
In full: First time for St Albans and wasn't dissapointed. I always heard that it was hilly but put that together with the fact that it was hot too and it certainly made it no PB potential. Plenty of water stations around course which made the heat very bearable. Altogether a great course and I for one will be back.

In short: Apart from the hugh car parking problems pretty well organised
In full: Overall an enjoyable race. Though I have to say that the car parking fiasco really annoyed me. We all queued up for some time to be told to go and park else, and the lady directing us didn’t have a clue where it actually was and sent us in the wrong direction. Luckily we got there pretty early so it wasn’t that much of an issue to us. I wouldn’t have liked to have arrived much later though.
Not sure if I'm going to do it again as it was just much too hot. Certainly not PB potential. I agree with the earlier comment starting earlier would be much better. Also more showers would have been a good idea. There were however lots and lots of water stations which was great. Pity they had a problem with the isotonic drinks that would have been helpful. I'm glad they put this on the website so we knew in advance. Seemed to be a lot more runners this year and so crowding was a problem during the race.

In short: The new track is excellent compared to last year, well done!!
In full: But it is not necessary to put a couple of water stations in the bottom of up hills on this undulating track and the water station after finish was a disaster, it took 15 minutes before I got any water.
