In short: friendly atmosphere, encouraging marshals, more hills than I thought
In full: My first HM race, very impressed with the atmosphere, the friendly marshals and the goody bag.

In short: Really enjoyed it!
In full: This was my first half-marathon. I found the terrain fairly easy and teh organisation was excellent! Loads of marshals, lots of water stations (though was a long trek to the end after the last one at about 10 miles) and a great atmosphere. Thanks!

In short: A truely enjoyable occasion
In full: A deceptive course, more demanding than it first appears. I started out far too fast and consequently missed my PB by 6 measley seconds! None the less it was a really great occasion. The supporters were fantastic, it was great to be shouted on so enthusiastically by so many kids all round the course, and the locals seemed genuinely pleased to see us running by. The number of water stations was excellent and well managed and the sponges were a great idea. And the run into the finish was warm and welcoming with a family picnic atmosphere. The only things that let it down for me were what I felt was a poor goody bag, and most frustratingly, the almost useless map in the booklet. I was entirely unable to 'walk the route' beforehand. Please can we have a larger, clearer map next year. However that didn't detract from truely enjoyable and very well organised occasion. There's no question I'll be back!

In short: Great event - can I sign up for next year NOW??
In full: A cracker of an event, helped by wonderful weather. Well supported round the course with plently of water (& sponge) stations. Spectators handing out jelly babies. Super goodie bag. Roll on next year. Well done (& thank you) Bracknell for putting on a great event.

In short: Very well organised. Quick course.
In full: Got my PB here a couple of years ago so came back for another go - although quite a bit slower this time. A few minor hills but generally a fast course. Not very exiting scenery, especially on the road setion in the middle. Plenty of loos this time - a great improvement over a couple of years ago. Bargin price too considering the goody bag on offer. I'll come back again next year having done a bit more training!

In short: Perfect weather, perfect organisation, brilliant support especially from the local school children
In full: This was my first Half Marathon i'd ever taken part in and i'm glad I picked Bracknell for this, as there was lots of support all around the course, mixed group of runners, lots of marshalls and police/couldn't fault the organisation (it was the first race i've been to where there were the right amount of toilets for the amount of runners!) and the goody bag was very good value. Will be back, loved it.

In short: Can't fault the organisation but I actually found this race really dull, far too much running alongside roads/dual carriagewayss
In full: Sorry - this will be going against everyone's elses views. Organisation - excellent, support - excellent, value - good, course - boring. Maybe it's because I'm used to country runs!!
