In short: Excellent race, shame about the head wind from mile 10 and the hills at 9 and 18.

In short: Not all of East Anglia is flat! Great testing event with the icy cold wind and those hills to test your mettle!
In full: Returned after 2005's Siberian experience thinking it would be somewhat easier this year. Although it was v. cold again, the sun shone for most of the time. However, a brutal headwind seemed to be following me around for the bulk of the race, and those hills at 9 and 18miles thought they would join the party to finish me off. After taking 30mins after the race to regain my speech and co-ordination, I can summarise what a fantastic event this is:
Well organised Park and Ride before and afterwards;
Luxurious toilets (with background music and real towels!!);
Friendly runners - although being the sole representive from my club, I had no shortage of other people to talk with before, and to compare heartbreaking tales with afterwards;
Marshals were wonderful - receive great encouragement from them all which got me round;
The most efficient baggage retrieval ever - one person call your number as you limped in and the bag was on the table waiting! With it being so cold - this was what was needed to get back into warm clothes.
Thanks to Paul and everyone else involved in making this a great event and I'll be definately back in 2007!
