In short: Despite gailforce winds and horizontal rain a top race. Even on such a foul day marshalls were excellent and supportive. A great prep race for FLM.

In short: First time for this one. Longest I have ever run. Well organized. Good marshalling including bicycle marshalls who each must have ridden about 100 miles.
In full: The weather was not on the side of the runners or the organizers this year but this is a well organised race in beautiful countryside. Some hills. Very friendly crowd.

In short: Great training run for London
In full: Good run, shame about the weather, the finish line could do showing off a bit more but otherwise a good warmup for London.

In short: Excellent LFM build up race.
In full: I must run hilly routes at home as I thought this was really flat! PB by about 20mins!! Sadly no water or FINISH sign at end but overall very good race. I'll be back!

In short: well done Gloucester AC
In full: It was a 20 miler, we clocked 3.15 ish,
i kept the race chip in the wheelchair bag, and handed it in at the end.

i did'nt pick up any momentoes, as we are not in it for that.

It was a lovely race, almost a reverse of the New year Gloucester 10,
it was slightly undulating , but what do you expect, it's also all on the day.
I was very tired come 17 miles, but that's all in the name of the game.

I would like to thank all at Gloucester AC for letting us take part.
We are doing more 20's were possible , as half's are getting a little boring

Might well have a go at the Glouc half soon and hammer that , not sure yet

But we had fun, we have no regret's

Mick

In short: Excellent race, well marshalled & frequent water stations
In full: It was a great course - a few undulations but nothing too much, very well marshalled, had a very attentive ambulance & people sweeping the course, frequent water stations approx every 3.3 miles, it was great to have the results ready straight after the race, there were lots of prizes and although the finish was about 1/4 mile walk from the car park/community centre it helped loosen up the joints (though there were a lot of people having trouble walking that short distance back!). Plus a nice t-shirt!

Could have done with a start mat for the chips rather than starting them all from the gun (would have moved forward if I'd known), would have preferred bottles at the water stations rather than cups as I like to sip a bottle for a mile after the station, for some the walk back to the car from the finish would be long!
