In short: Fast & flat. Not much scenery, but a superb day weather-wise and the venue itself offers some interest. Shame about the nightmare getting out of the car park!

In short: I enjoyed the day. The fact that they had the timing clock at each mile was good? At least by the 7 mile stage Iknew Iwas running a stinker of a time. Overall I enjoyed the day.

In short: Well organised, flat but dull
In full: Overall the race was well organised although there was a delay at the start due to the increased numbers of runners this year. Course very flat but despite being the spiritual home of British motor racing, it is mind nunbingly boring and dull. Not much to see and very exposed - would not fancy running it if is was windy. Good for first timers.

In short: Great event, booking my place for 2010 already
In full: It was the first time i have attempted a half marathon. I have just come off a long term injury and wasnt sure if would finish the event. From arriving at the venue it felt like a really big event and was well organised.
I arrived on the start line early and the start was delayed 15 mins which didnt bother me to be honest. My expectations were that i would be walking for ages to get over the start line and spend first cpl of miles fighting for space. Glad to say i was over the line within a minute and running in space by the first corner. I went with a big group of people and some have said its the most boring half they ever done. I am a big fan of F1 and i enjoyed everything about the day. The marshals were really encouraging and the spectators were too, giving me a boost just when needed it. There were only maybe one or 2 slight inclines, other than that a very flat course so quick times very possible.

Also like to thank all the runners that gave me encouragement whenever i thought about stopping. This event has got me hooked on half marathons now and looking at doing a few more this year and coming back for this event next year. Just dont tell my legs that yet because they are still aching.

In short: Dull but flat and efficiently organised
In full: Felt like a big event with plenty of organisation. The race itself was ok in that it was flat and had plenty of room (as you would expect from a F1 racing circuit). Not much to look at in some respects but there was something unique about running around such a famous venue.

Did not feel elitist and I would recommend for 1st time half marathoners or those preparing for the big one in London

In short: Agree with most of the comments on here. Car Park was a nightmare to get out of. Race itself did leave a little to the imagination but overall thought it was well organised. There was a fair wait at the start of the race not sure why, had my ipod on!
