In short: A nice race with a ridiculous name In full: Interesting distance for those wanting a race marginally more challenging than a half-marathon. One more water station would be good. Thanks for the very nice ladies in organization for waiting for about 45 minutes for us on Saturday to pick our kits up! Date of review: March 17, 2010

In short: Very good given the first time it was run. In full: Whilst it was a good run I was left with the feeling that opportunities were missed. To encourage participation in a race series, England, Scotland, Wales, Nothern Ireland the organisers should consider unique mementoes of each and recognition for those that complete all 4 events irrespective of time. In short: What Sunday mornings are there for! In full: Didn't see the carb gels being handed out and really didn't get the turning back on yourself bit at Elvaston. Within 100mtrs of entering the grounds picked up a small stone in my trainer that probably added a couple of mins to my time but hey, still a Kilomathon PB! will need to sort IT Band problems for next year.. By the half marathon distance I'd taken 27mins off my previous PB for the half so all in all, a good day.. Oh yeah! wtf guys! Peeing on someone's house?? Date of review: March 17, 2010

In short: Well organised overall, a fairly flat course and friendly locals In full: Entered because it was a first as I prefer off-road running. Pleasantly surprised by the good organisation and the fairly flat course. The weather could have been better, i.e. less windy perhaps. Crowd & marshal support along the course was great. In short: well organised, reasonably flat, great experience In full: As per all the other reviews, my only downside would be the waiting around at the start, We were hanging around in the pens and at the start for 45 mins in the cold, thank god it wasn't raining, i didn't have any issues with the loos only waited a couple of mins but the queues did seem to get worse. I thought the organisation was great the marshalls were fantastic and there was plenty of people cheering everyone on. Goody bag was brill, the small t shirt is not small at all but its a great top and I like that its long sleeved which makes a change, medal is fab!! Its my furthest distance I've done so far and I enjoyed the challenge. Would I do it again?? Yeh I think I would, if only to beat my time. Overall a great day. Thanks. Date of review: March 16, 2010

In short: A really enjoyable run, well organised and a great atmosphere In full: I really enjoyed this event. It was very well organised, especially the shuttle buses and water stations. Spectators had no problems getting from the start to the finish. I would definitely do this event again. Date of review: March 16, 2010
