In short: Brilliant Value for Money Race
In full: Fantastic organisation, and amazing support from the marshalls all around the course who did a superhuman job in appauling conditions, a couple of cheeky climbs but nothing worse than you get in Yorkshire.Bananas and a Tech T-Shirt a nice surprise. All told will be back next year. Formative Feedback - Chip Timing would ice the cake, and please get rid of the bloke on the tannoy, like a crap pub DJ, not funny, needs putting down.

In short: Easily the best 10 mile race in the country..
In full: Awful weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the magnificent marshalls who kept clapping and cheering right through the field. It's a testing course but gets the balance just right to keep things interesting. Already marked on the calendar for next year!

In short: Fantastic!
In full: The weather was horrible. The marshals were amazing - how they kept going in that awful weather is extraordinary.

In short: First time - I'll be back
In full: Cracking race. If it were possible to give more than 5 in most categories I would do so. The weather was miserable but the excellence of the event as a whole shone through. It's just a pity I had to jog back to the car right away at the end to ward off hypothermia - it would have been nice to hang around and chat as the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. The marshalls and that star of a commentator deserve special mention.

In short: Race of the Year
In full: This is my favourite race of the year. Incredibly generous, this year including a very unique and very inkeeping with the feel of the race. medal.

The weather was apalling which made the incredibly enthusiastic marshals even more special. It doesn't matter how many times I run this race or how many time I practice the hills, its still a brutal race but a damn fine one for that.

I'm at here aching, sat in my t-shirt, eating my salt, moisteriing my feet with a transfer on my arm and can't wait to enter next year

In short: Great race that just gets better
In full: 3rd time running this one, despite the rain still did best time (must be getting used to those hills now). Organisation great & the marshalls wonderful, even more so for getting soaking wet. Big thanks to them.

In short: * Race Full * - says it all really, year on year gets friendlier
In full: Despite increasing the number of entries this year we had to put the race full signs up earlier than ever.

What makes this race different, its not the scenery or the weather, maybe its the goody bag (bring back the worms) or the amazing marshals, or just the overall organisation - or that amazing commentator !?

Most of all though, its you the runners, everyone we see and talk to from the male and female elites to those with tinsel on hoping to sneak a 10 mile PB or the locals for whom this is their one race of the year you have made the race what it is today a real runners race where taking part as an organiser/marshal is as much fun as actually running it.

See you in 2012 !
