In short: My first 10K. Would recommend it to all first-timers
In full: Had been told that the first 4K uphill was a bit of a slog, but didn't find it too bad at all so don't be put off!! Just run slow enough and you'll get there!! Extremely friendly and encouraging marshalls on route. lovely scenery after first 3K and varied terrain keeps it really interesting. Just don't don't turn the race round and make us run up Norbury from the other direction next year - that really would be a killer!! Well done Abo and the boys!

In short: Fab race
In full: Wonderful race, very well organised. Will def be back next year. Shame about the little railway next-door not opening as I brought family, but they were kept entertained with lots of cake!

In short: My favourite race
In full: Full credit goes to the lads at the fire station for organising what I think is the best race I know of. It's friendly and fun and the route is challenging but fair. The feeling of running down the hill after Bocket's Farm is why I run. Top banana!

In short: Fantastic, well organised in in a very good casue
In full: An excellent race that despite being late to enter in to was welcomed and kept well informed.
Good organisation and well marshalled with great support round the course.
Only down sides were the bottle neck at the start which might hvae been overcome by starting on the straight out of the fire station. And please, other runners, if you have finshed your race and want to cheer your friends on dont come and run alongside them on the tow path so no-one can then get past you in the very tight space, wait for an open section and cheer away!
A fantastic race I will be back next year.

In short: Fantabulous!
In full: Great race - scenic, varied terrain, challenging enough ups with lovely zoomy downhills as a reward. Organisation and communication excellent throughout. Very safely marshalled across some busy junctions, and great finish atmosphere - most kept going over the line until they reached the cakes!
Thanks to all the fire station crew and the marshalls for making it a memorable experience. Would be a brilliant first race for anyone.

In short: This must be the best 10k ever.
In full: I love this race: the hills in the first 4 k and the wonderful downhill from 4 to 7 k, then flat. Beautiful countryside too. Especially poignant today as the firemen were collecting for their colleagues killed in the Warwickshire fire.
