In short: Well organised and Marshalled. Location found very easily and parking available. Course challenging but good, I achieved my PB of 49 mins which surprised me bearing in mind several good hills.

In short: well organised, quite challenging course, great glass and goody bag.
In full: As one of the slower runners at the back I didn't have much company in this race. The weather was not ideal for running or anything else for that matter but that is not controllable.

In short: Great race on a challenging course.
In full: Always nice to get a good souvenir, the wine glass will make a good memento. Good friendly race with everything you want: Accurate KM markers, friendly plentiful marshalling, enough water stations (2+finish), banana in goody bag, good scenery (the green is a great place to congregate for the start). I'm sure the hill up Hobs Hole Lane (8-9km) has been lengthened from the last time I ran up it! Thanks ARC.

In short: Very hot and the run in between 7 - 9k made harder by the heat. That said I would say the best goody bag I have had in a long while and excellent organisation.

In short: Great race but OMG was it HOT!
In full: Found this race really well organised. Great to have some atmosphere at the start and finish. Thank you to the orgainsers for putting on 2 drinks stations. The long drag from 7K to 9K was tough and only made worse for being sheltered from the wind but not the sun.
Thanks again to the orgainisers and marshals, see you next year!

In short: A hilly race run on a hot morning
In full: A race, which attracted a lot of club runners, were given a course that challenged many who were hoping to do a good time.
The course was hilly, and with the day just starting to heat up, I suspect that a lot of the best times evaporated going up the last long climb from about 7k from the finish and in which the incline increased, for a short ditance at the 9k marker before the run in home.
The event was well organised and marshalled.
With a goody bag worth having and a wine glass, which was a change from having a medal or a T-shirt, it will be for me, one to do again next time.

In short: Great fun - Hilly and hot as Hades!!
In full: Blisteringly hot round this very hilly course this year. A fast start to the start of a series of hills as we climbed up and dow the plateau that Aldridge is placed on . The last 3Klm always catches people out rising gradually then steepening alarmingly seemingly never ending. Caught me out and I have trained round the course for weeks living nearby as I do. The goody bag has to be the best I've had all year - energy gel, Banana , water , pen and to cap it all a lovely engraved glass with the Aldridge running club logo. Superb value - thanks to all the marshalls and organisers.
