In short: As good as ever
In full: Once again very well organised. I bit warm for me this year, but to be expected in July really! Would recommend it to anyone.

In short: Rain held off. great race. organisation brilliant.
In full: this is my 4th year of doing the new forest 10 and I have enjoyed every year. It is well organised and the addition of chip timing helps with the start congestion problems.

In short: Well organised with picturesque surroundings
In full: Really enjoyed the race, and got a PB. The marshalls were great and placed all around the course. Plenty of water stations. The course was undulating with no monster hills. Great atmosphere to the whole event.

In short: One of my favourite races
In full: This is my idea of how a race should be organised. It's mostly on trails through the New Forest so the scenery is lovely and if it's a hot day the forest canopy goes some way to keeping the heat off. There's a village fete atmosphere, it's chip timed and it all runs like clockwork.

I also think they do things right with the goody bag. There isn't one. You get a horse brass as a memento and as much juice and water as you want at the finish and to me that's all you need. Why boost the entry cost just to pay for a bunch of useless trinkets? The New Forest 10 is £10 for affiliated entries and in the day and age where the GNR costs £42 and central London 10Ks are, what?, £30 this is a bargain.

In short: Great scenery- great run
In full: My first time at this one. Marshals and supporters around course (and there were many) were brilliant. Flatter course than I anticipated and probably the best scenery I,ve experienced whilst racing.I reckon the course commentator will have his name in the Guinness BoR for the number of times he screamed "Give them some encouragement". But despite him I will definitely be back next year.

In short: Gorgeous race through the New Forest - what more could you ask for?
In full: Excellent marshalls who were all smiling and encouraging. Good facilities for runners and spectators. My second time and will definitely be back next year. Like the horse brass too - nice touch!

In short: Something Missing
In full: Don't get me wrong, this is a good race. Organisation was very good, course was scenic enough, family atmosphere. The thing was you were always so close to some great x-country conditions, but you just keep plodding along the roads & tracks and left it all behind. Yes I know it was a trail race and it may well be just me, I like x-country, but felt like I'd missed an opportunity.

In short: NICE!
In full: Overall a great race, especially family friendly with the ½,1,3m fun runs which our kids really enjoyed, also a magic show and bouncy castle plus a variety of refreshments for the rest of the family whilst I did the 10mile. ALl the marshalls were great, very happy and encouraging which always helps loads.

Well done to everyone involved!
