In short: I love Leeds and everything is great about this race apart from the dull route!
In full: Brilliantly organised, uplifting pockets of support on the route and great support in the city. Well marshalled. Excellent water supplies.Undulating course with great recovery downhills which meant I got an unexpected PB. On the flip side, the course is so dull and Leeds is such a beautiful city with fantastic parks near the centre, it's a shame that visitors don't get to experience it. Will be back next year though.

In short: great organisation, bottled water with flick tops very neat
In full: Much better on the spacing this year. a big improvement not having to run for half a mile bent double under low hanging trees. sailing after 7 miles but the 'slight incline' of the last mile is punishing, though rewarding at the end to be greeted by the army!! i finished in 1h 39m, but spent longer on the biggest problem in a leeds half-mara...what size t-shirt to pick. i settled on medium, but haven't yet dared to get it out of its wrapper...

In short: Hilly - but the down hills as well as up meant I got a PB!
In full: Great organisation, start pens not too crowded and people seemed to start in the right place (often frustrated by this not happening!), good bottled water on course but gaterade in a cup was a waste of time for me! Perfect weather allowed me to get inside my target time of 1.35

In short: Not the most exciting, but very well run
In full: Would like to have seen a few landmarks, as the course was very dull. However the organisation was superb, with the marshalls doing a fantastic job, and the people around the course great. Will not be back as i prefer more scenic routes

In short: Well organised but just a little dull.
In full: A good race in terms of organisation, lots of water stops, good marshalling and lots of support. However, running in one lane of dual carriageways isnt that enthralling, and I'd quite like to avoid all those exhaust fumes. Where we were on single carriageways the race was much nicer, although not terribly scenic apart from the Abbey. Nice goody bag and good race commentary. Not as hilly as I'd have liked. Bit of an in-betweener therefore, not quite flat enough for PB hunters, and not really hilly enough for those wanting a challenge.
