In short: Better course this year
In full: I really missed running up the long hill in the park, NOT! The wind was bad luck for people doing the full distance but can't blame the organisers for that.
Pacemakers were there, I saw them

In short: Great first time event, shame about the potholes
In full: My wife fell in a hole after 3-4 minutes and ended up in hospital with a bad sprain. I carried on and enjoyed my first half marathon. Nice route, few hills, nice medal, lost my goodie bag. Only complaint was finding out from the first aiders and marshals what happened to my wife. When I finished it took 45 mins to find out she was in hospital. Despite having my number they hadn't left me a message. Bad end to a great day, thoroughly recommend it.

In short: A great race, well-run and good for beginners. Nice medal as well!
In full: I say good for beginners as it was my first half-marathon and I really enjoyed it. There are some mild hills but nothing too challenging. Well organised, though car park A is a nightmare to get out of at the end.

In short: Good organisation, quick course, plenty of drinks stations
In full: For my first half marathon I was pleasantly suprised at just how organised a race could be that had 12000+ entrants. Race officials were friendly efficient and there were plenty of drinks stations on route and facilities in the race area. The only problem I had was getting out of the car park at the end, I think you need more than 1 exit for so many cars and even when you got out all the traffic was going in 1 direction and it took me nearly an hour to even get out of Nottingham.

In short: Ran like clockwork
In full: This was the best organised half marathon I have run... except for leaving the carpark, which was horrendous. Overall I loved the whole event, well done. (I also improved on my pb from 2 weeks ago at Wolverhampton!!)

In short: Loved it!
In full: This race just gets better and better. I saw a couple of pace makers so they're there.

I'm looking forward to next year already :o)

In short: Run like clockwork as usual, brilliant half marathon
In full: 3rd year for me, love the big event feel, great facilities, good PA system that can be heard, drinks a plenty, well staffed as well. Ok so the goody bag is a little sparse but who cares, its better than most, nice medal, grandstand finish. Great parking. Oh yes as other poster said couldnt see any pace people but never mind, i wish all races were run like like this.
