In short: Addictive!
In full: Doesn't get any easier! Still wonderful scenery, helpful marshals, nosh everywhere, and the odd hill. What else could you do on a Saturday?

In short: A great event
In full: At least once on the Seven Sisters I may have wondered what I was doing there and if I actually enjoy marathon running after all, but in the whole, a great event. Great course, marshals, support, food and piper. What more could you ask for? (The clouds cleared and the sun came out which gave us the views also even if there was a vicious wind throughout).
Many thanks once again to the organisers.

In short: I dreamt of hills and a piper
In full: Fantastic race

A nice little shower to get us started and then we had to head up the first of many hills

Big thanks to all the supporters and marshalls, gutted that I didn't have a sausage roll, it wouldn't have mixed well with my energy gel

The course was stunning.

My legs went after 20 miles and then had to struggle up the seven sisters. I could not stand up the evening after the race yet will be back for next year

Oh and a big thanks for the free jacket potato, sausage and beans,

In short: brilliant - first time on this course and I'm hooked - although I can hardly move today!
In full: Living locally I had heard a lot of talk of this race, but had never actually had the guts to attempt it. Really really enjoyed it - marshalls were great (I have marshalled it once before, but MUCH more fun to run). Slippery underfoot at times, and much has already been said about the Seven Sisters and the other killer hills and wind. Energy drinks would have been nice, but I appreciate the cost. Hot cross bun v tasty! thank you thank you thank you for a fab day!

In short: If you only do one marathon?
In full: What a day out. Once again fantastic in every way, hard to fault. The best thing about this years event was the fact that the sun came out (unlike last year)albeit it was very windy, to the point of being knocked over. This marathon has it all, one of the best that in my opinion gets better and better, I'll be back, again.
