In short: They even kept the rain away until I'd finished!
In full: An autumn must-do, wooded tracks, breathtaking hilltop views (reached by climbing up breath taking hills!) finish in the courtyard of ripley castle beats any other race for sheer class. well done organisers and thank you super-friendly marshals.

In short: Great race, marshaling, organisation and atmosphere
In full: Will be back next year - great route, a bit tough in places but the organisation and atmosphere was fantastic. Thanks for the great T-Shirt and goody bag (we all like our freebies!) And thanks as always to the marshalls and volunteers at the water stations!

In short: Thanks Guy Fawkes
In full: Brilliant course, scenery, farmyard smells and hills. The hills are tough, I was way outside my PB. Goody bag... I've got enough coffee to last a couple of months.. thank you Nestles and the organisers. Shirts.. brilliant. Puts all the other 'bigger' races to shame.

In short: Fantastic race. Friendly marshalls. Birstwith Brute is a killer!
In full: My first 10 mile race and what a one to do. Excellent organisation and friendly and supportive marshalls. The Birstwith Brute was very tough (never had to walk in a race before!). Fabulous goody bag and long sleeved technical t-shirt at the end. Definitely back next year. Thank you Nidd Valley Road Runners.

In short: Cracking race!
In full: The route promised a very hlly course so I was somewhat apprehensive about taking part. However, remember the old saying that what goes up, must come down. Therefore, while there was one steep climb, it was more downhill and I knocked over 5 minutes off my PB. Credit to Nidd Valley Runners as the organisation was excellent. No problem to park, lots of cheerful marshalls and a very generous goody bag. No wonder it filled up with no entries on the day. Definitely one to recommend (but get in early!)

In short: what a fantastic race
In full: Second time for me and it was better than I recall it from 2 years ago.
Loads of free parking right next to the start, everyone very friendly especially the marshalls - extremly well organised - seamless.
The course is playful with lots of downhills and some go up too ....Beatiful scenery even on a grey day and the finish line is classical ending in the small castle at Ripley.
The T shirt was long sleeved and technical with all sizes available - puts FLM and RNR to shame. The Good bag is famous for content, it would be handy to have wheels on it next time.
This race is tremendous value - dont know how they do it.
Brilliant Nidd Valley RR.
Thanks you and see you next year

In short: A perfect Sunday morning outing
In full: I have to say it's one of the highlights of my running calender. The goodie bag wasn't as good as last year but the long sleaved technical T-shirt is fantastic, great idea.

In short: Close to top marks from me
In full: Marshalls and other race helpers were great. Goodie bags were most generous I've known considering the inclusion of LS-top as well. Location was lovely and the course was challenging but rewarding.

Only thing I can mark down on is difficulty in getting into car park causing a traffic jam and last minute arrival for many. I suggest maybe state in bold writing on form "Set off early". Disregarding this minor gripe it was, as others have already said, one of the best races in Yorkshire.
