In short: Well organised enjoyable run
In full: Good athmosphere and well organised. Enthusiastic organisers with clear direcetions, lots of water, food bag, medal and certificate. With a caribbean drumming beat through out. All good fun.

In short: Local, friendly and fun
In full: This is a great first race if you want to avoid all the fuss. The laps made the time go faster since it was easier to concentrate on them rather than miles. Would definitely do it again and, although it was hot, the late start added to the relaxed atmosphere.

In short: Great marshalls and goodie bag!!
In full: Lovely touch where marshalls call out your name as you run round, lots of energy from the helpers as well as the runners!
The laps helped ease the nerves as you knew what you were in for after the first one... didn't find it monotonous or repetitive as the scenery was nice through the trees and along the canal. Would definitely do this again as thought it was good value for money.

In short: Very friendly & great marshalls
In full: Only criticism was there were no mile or km markers. This made my carefully prepared race band redundant and it would really have helped my pacing as inevitably I started too fast and crashed near the end.

In short: Of all the runs I've done round the world, one of the friendliest.
In full: Wonderful enthusiasm from the marshals and organisers. OK there's small things which could be improved on but that didn't spoil a very enjoyable race which had a very pleasant old skool feel unlike some of the big races these days which are a scrum. Great atmosphere and really nice touch to provide a small lunch in the goodie bag. Support fantastic. Laps made it a very different 1/2 m to run and on a cooler / less breezy day it has pb potential (earlier start time would be better but I guess this is governed by when the changing facilities at hackney marshes open).

Well done all at ufdance and their volunteers!

In short: Friendly race and amazing marshalls !
In full: Giving the marshalls all a list of the runners was an excellent idea, I was there on my own but I still got my name called out loads of times, especially by the girls at the finish who must have lost their voices by the end of the race!
Points to improve - better directions on the pre-race instructions and PLEASE PUT TOILET ROLLS IN THE GENTS !

In short: Great race and excellent marshalls
In full: My only point would be to start the race an hour earlier due to the weather. I know British summers aren't always hot but August is a pretty good bet! The two water stations worked well, Mr Gladiator's Usain Bolt good fun ;) Marshalls excellent and a really great touch to give them a list with our names. Good PB race due to the flat and I will certainly be back to break it next year - well done thanks.
