In short: Running as Santa - great fun
In full: Good race but early start. Great goody bag and medal. Santa suits are very hot to run in so I didn't - walked it and got some great photos. Will do this every year.

In short: Good fun.
In full: Great fun, nobidy should take this race too seriously. Many people ran/walked today who would not otherwie go near a running event. Getting on the train at Birkenhead Hamilton Square with thirty other Santas was a surreal moment I will want to remember.

In short: Really good 5k and mini dash but a dissapointed 2yr old with no balloon/goodybag
In full: A really friendly and fun race that i would definatly recomend to anyone, with a couple of small negative points.

I did the 5k, then the mini dash with my 2year old niece who really enjoyed it but was a bit dissapointed at the end because after being promised a balloon and goody bag after crossing the finish, there were none left!

was also a bit annoyed about the PA man announcing that all the childern from the mini dash had finished when there were still quite a few running, causing my sisters and parents to panic that my niece had got injured!

A very friendly policewoman also helped make it special for my niece by holding her hand and swinging her to the finish line!

Other than that, it was a really good day and will definatly do it again.

In short: Please get the route and distance right next time
In full: Last year it was supposed to be 3.5m and ended up 5K, this year it was supposed to be 5K and turned out to be 3.5m. I know its a fun run, but it would be nice to know how long the race is before you get to 3 miles. All of the other 15 races I have done this year have been the distance they were supposed to be, how hard can it be? Also telling people that the route has changed before they start would be a nice touch. The goody bags were excellent, and it was generally good fun and well organised, but the minor niggles spoiled a fun day.
