In short: Very Good
In full: Well organised, plenty of water and traffic free. Rather warm on the day, but thats expected when its in June. Good flat course, with a couple of minor hills. The 19 to 23m part of the course seemed endless.
Chip timing worked well, good T-shirt and medal.
Good marathon to do if London is not your thing.

In short: Very good organisation, the long concrete section is mindnumbing, especially second time round!

In short: Good course but due to the heat more water stations needed
In full: I travelled up from London and the race was good but due to the heat many more water stations were needed had the heat continued as per the start of the race you would have had many runners in difficulty the one at 9 miles rescued me.

In short: Excellent , very well organised event
In full: Course was relitvely flat and good one for my first marathon (4.05). The weather was very hot particularly for the miles through the town centre, as there was very little wind. Easy to get to the start and easy for my partner to be able to watch. Not quite the same atmosphere as the Great North Run, the only other event that I have entered, but made up for it in other ways. Well organised with planty of water and lucozade, marshalls were very friendly and helpful.

In short: Excellent organisation
In full: My first marathon...

Top notch organisation. Red hot for first few miles. Plenty of 'sights' (landmarks and people worse the wear from the previous night!)

Miles 20 - 23 were lonely and seemed to go on forever !

Lots of good support for first 1/2 but second 1/2 was a bit lonely. Bit hard on the feet due to all the concrete promendae.

In short: we started on time, well done to all who helped.
In full: did the full last year,so only did the half this year as the lower prom is never ending.overall a great race weather was a bit on the warm side,a nice medal and tee shirt to finish off with.once again a big thank you to the marshalls and helpers without whom the event would not happen.
