In full: Not been to Bath since was much younger. So pent the weekend to have a look around. The half marathon was a lovely way to finish the weekend. Very enjoyable.

In short: Great atmosphere and organisation. Definitely do again
In full: This was my 3rd go at a half marathon and I thought the organisation and atmosphere were excellent. Just the right amount of water stations and even some lucozade left for the slower runners. Toilets all the way round....typical I didn't need them this time! Support was amazing, even on quieter spots there were people encouraging me on. Only negative was that I got there early as per the info but probably could of arrived much later. Definitely will be back .though....thank you Bath

In short: Much better than 2005 - great touch adding musicians in the quieter sections
In full: I last did this one in 2005 - this time they made the boring parts of the course interesting with musicians etc. Great atmosphere and support particularly at the finish (loving the big screen to see yourself turning into the finishing straight) and in Queens Square. A mate did it a couple of years ago and trains back to Bristol were a nightmare, but this year they put on lots of extra trains so had clearly learnt from that. It was a bit slow getting to the start but not that bad given the number of runners. Top stuff overall - I'd recommend it to anyone.

In short: Cones in the road - totally unnecessary!
In full: I agree with Nick Kirby 4 - everyone is far too positive and the race organisers won't learn anything if we don't point out the failings. The cones in the road for virtually the WHOLE course were a hinderance not a help. The signage and people on megaphones was all that was needed for slower 1st lappers. All the cones did was push people to the edges of the roads where you had to contend with either spectators or barrier legs sticking out. There was simply not enough space! Saying that the atmosphere is excellent and I will come back time and again because it is such a beautiful place to run in.
