In short: A PB! I saw parts of Pompey I've not seen for years, and had a blast!
In full: A bit of a crowded start - 3 pens for 15,000 a few more might have helped, the orange zone could have been further subdivided to reduce the need to overtake. But that following wind for the last 2 miles was wonderful!

In short: Good run organisation shame about the traffic!
In full: My first great South Run. The run was very well organised. Although the price was steep (£23) everyone commented how improved the organisation was this year.
My main gripe is how poorly the traffic getting out off the city was controlled by the police after the race.
It took me 2 hours to just get from the race site to the A27!! This would normally take less than 12 mininutes. The police should really be around the city after the race to control traffic flows.
A great race, severely let down but the traffic congestion post race
