In short: Great course, well organised, my first race - looking for my next one!
In full: Having never entered a race before, I didn’t really knew what to expect when I got there. However, having found the car park and starting point very easily from the directions in the race pack provided, I soon relaxed and looked forward to the race. I found the whole event ran smoothly from start to finish, with a very nice medal and t-shirt as a reminder of the day. Very enjoyable.

In short: Well planned, expertly promoted, thoroughly deserved the big response it received.
In full: A living advert for the town of Kings Lynn, every aspect has been carefully considered and thought through, from the scenic start, the route via the historic market square and quayside, to the huge finish funnel and plentiful (if hard to spot among the crowds)water supplies. Having three starting zones was a wise attempt to reduce congestion. The grassy stretches were slightly longer than anticipated and were definitely on the soft side! Excellent organisation and marshalling throughout.

In short: My first proper (timed) race and only my second overall. Course was very flat which was a huge incentive. Lovely day, rain in previous days made the grass parts a little muddy, but great crowds, very encouraging. Makes me want to do more races!

In short: Well Done, King's Lynn. Congratulations to all involved in the organisation of the inaugural Bespak GEAR
In full: In total agreement with the other reviewers, looking forward to next years. Only one minor point, perhaps another drinks station along the quay! Once again well done to the organisers, the officials and the marshals. Thank you.

In short: The organisers have set the bar high with this one, will they match it next year, i hope so.
In full: Well done to all involved for putting this 10k firmly on the map as a large city 10k, its 1st outing and over 1500 entrants, this race will only get bigger as it was run like clockwork. Well packaged entry with chip timing and clear instructions, good parking, nice route and setting, even the portaloos were clean and flushed. Nice to see the elite guest runners as was the towns people giving local support as the whole of the route was closed off just for us runners, even through the towns shopping centre, coupled with a nice finish area in the park all laid out well, finally ending with a good medal and nice t-shirt and the results up on the website the same evening, oh and to boot a new pb by nearly 5 minutes it can`t be bad, so all in all i am pleased i entered and hope to be back next year, well done again to all invloved for putting this event on,and i am not involved with the local club i live 40 miles away.
