In short: Car parking could have been better. Apart from that a very enjoyable race and day out.

In short: Good, challenging and well organised race
In full: The parking was initially off putting but was actually very slick, with no wait at either end. Given the size of the village and what Yaxley have to work with, I think they did a brilliant job. Crowd support was good, PB by means of the unusual distance, only suggestion would be just afew more toilets.
I'm not sure how they managed to have me finishing 6 and a half mins after I actuallly did but even so I would still recommend the event.

In short: Car parking arrangements stupid. A grass verge some two miles from HQ.
In full: I was so put off by the crazy park and ride situation I drove home and did not take part in the race. In the past I have always rated this event as one of the best. Runners invest time, energy and money to get to the start line and thanks to all the helpers that turn out and make it work. But organisers please sort out the parking as it was rubbish and not fair on runners or helpers. As I never ran I cannot complete the review so top marks to all but organisation-parking.

In short: Car parking miles from HQ which was too far from start
In full: We had to park about two miles from race HQ and bussed by mini bus. HQ had no changing or showers and was overcrowded. The start was a good 10 minute walk from HQ. The logistics were crazy but the race was well marshalled with plenty of drinks stations and a good atmosphere.

In short: I had a good race so that's reflected in the marks
In full: I was sceptical that the mini bus service from the rather distant car park would work but it was very good. We hardly had to wait either coming or going. Well done organisers.

In short: Another Excellent year.
In full: This is the third year in a row I've run this and every year the organisation is excellent. The course itself is challenging but is an excellent spring marathon build up race. The wind made this years race tough but it was behind you for the past couple of miles of each lap which help at the end (especially on the last hill)I even managed 6 minutes better than last year!
Will be back again next year.
Thanks to all the marshalls on a cold day for their support

In short: Running wise cant be a bad word!
In full: Debut at distance great challenging course, relaxed start, everyone spread out fairly quickly due to the underlating its early on.
Hard wind, for 2/3 race, but behined for final few miles.
Well organised run, everything you need. Only gripe was the shutlle bus from car park z or x to the main area, if id known of this would have left earlier. Great prizes, well done Yaxley, bit thanks!

In short: Well organised event, 6 good inclines to get the heart pumping
In full: First time I'd tried more than a half marathon and glad I did it. Very friendly and efficient organisation, good pub right at the finish and ( I reckon anyhow) a challenging 2 lap course with 6 hard hills to get up. The hill at 14 miles pretty much finished me off I have to say, for the first time in a race I ended up walking a couple of hundred yards. Good to bring the family too as well, excellent refreshments so I'm told and as it's 2 laps you get twice the encouragement!
