In short: Hardest race I have done so far this year. That constant incline at start and middle was a killer

In short: Superb
In full: This is a challenging race with a steep hill to negotiate twice, but the scenery over the whole races makes this a lovely run to do.
You definitely feel you have earned your medal ! Recommended

In short: Two long uphills :( Two longer downhills :)
In full: It would be criminal to have this park and not arrange a fundraising run through it. The Rotary Club of Sevenoaks have not sat back knowing that Knole Park is a winner. This ia a well organised, challenging race that can be enjoyed by fun runners and club runners alike.

In short: Lovely setting for a race, even with all the mud.
In full: Race HQ facilities: changing, showering and car parking very good. Nice touch with the free bananas. Kissing gate on way to start caused problems. GPS showed that course 5.9miles not 6.25miles(10km)... not complaining though! Results/award giving somewhat confusing and long hanging around in the cold. Minor problems though that didnt spoil the race. Thank you.

In short: Enjoyable XC race in lovely deer park
In full: Enjoyed this event in beautiful Knole Park greatly. Lovely course, great finish, nice prizes. Some small weaknesses though that the organisers might wish to address for next year's event: (1) access to the start & finish from the Sevenoaks leisure centre HQ / car park was via a steep, narrow path and big iron kissing gate. The gate caused a lot of congestion before the race, with big tailbacks, causing runners to be late getting to the start (which had to be delayed by 10 minutes as a result). Afterwards it also delayed our getting back to our cars to collect our warm clothes. Could something be done about this? (2) The production of the results, particularly the identification of the prize winners, seemed rather chaotic. For example, the organisers didn't seem able to distinguish between male and female runners, which made allocation of prizes a bit problematic! Nevertheless a very pleasant, friendly race held in beautiful surroundings.
