In full: This was my first half marathon and a big challenge. Hills were exhausting and seeing the finishing line and drowning the pint of badger ale such a relief. Living locally it was lovely to enjoy the Surrey hills scenery. Perfect organization, great marshals cheering you on and perfect weather made this an enjoyable morning. Being foreign I loved the idea of singing the national anthem at the start! Will do it again next year and run up all them hills!
Also just looked at the pics and some of the best I have seen on such events.

In short: Hilly but worth the effort
In full: Really enjoyed the run in a masochistic way.
The organisation was great from the moment I arrived to the moment I picked up the goodie bag. The marshalls helped make the race, clapping and encouraging, it certainly made running up some of the hills easier.
Will be back next year and will be better prepared, will not run too fast too early (old mistake).

In short: Tough but enjoyable race around the surry hills
In full: I felt that this was an enjoyable race and well organised by the race team. It was a bit poor on the way of family supporters, a bit to early for them. It was a very nice gift at the end with a Badger beer. Likely it wasn't raining as it would have been a very different race!
