In short: Purple Patch - Well Done again. Scenic and I got a Pb.
In full: Great race. Marshalls fantastic - Organisation great and little chance of going wrong. Plenty of parking at Marlow but took 2 hours after the race to get back on public transport (I ran the route quicker!). Only down side is that you do need to watch your feet as it can be uneven in places and passing can be tricky for big parts of the race. Plenty of water stations on a very scenic track.

In full: Very well oragnised. Liked the clear mile markers and really liked the frequent water stations - I would definitely do this race again. It might be an idea just to remind people on entry to be mindful when they have their headphones on of other runners trying to pass them from behind and in particular of not just stopping in the path while they have their drink - blocking the way for everyone else! other than that a really fabulous race and great that all of the gates were opened thank you!

In short: 1st half marathon. Great scenery, nice and flat, terrain a bit challenging but really enjoyed it.
In full: In what was only my second race ever i finished in 1 hour and 57 minutes or so the Garmin tells me. A great training run towards my third race which will be the NYC marathon on 1st November this year. I wish i had trained on this typr of terrain before as all my running has been on the road. A very friendly atmosphere with not too many runners and as a result i really enjoyed the run. I am used to running alone (Billy no mates) so to have some company really spurred me on. Finished the day in good spirits and felt i could have gone on a little further. Only one minus point for me though. I acn eat anything except bananas and what was there to munch on at the end? You guessed it only bloody bananas. Not enough to spoil a great day though. Oh yeah legs do ache this morning but i guess i will have to get used to it. Might even try to fine another half before the big race comes around. Well done the organisers.
