In short: One of the best Half's around
In full: Very well organised event and a great course. Perfect weather today and managed a PB which was a real bonus. Will never understand why slow runners place themselves in the front pens but it seems to be the norm. Everything appeared to run like clockwork and I have never been offered so much free stuff at the end of a race. Would definately run again but my guess is that this event will become more and more difficult to get into due to its success.

In short: Great race, they just need to sort out the start pens next year!
In full: Great race and hooking it up with brakes food festival afterwards meant lots to do after the race and lots of great freebies. Plenty of water and lucozade along the course. Only complaint is the start pens - the one next to me was empty with all colours going in and being able to start reasonably near the front which meant first mile was quite slow. All in all though, this doesn't make too much difference and I was pretty happy with my time and will be back next year. Agree the mile markers were a little random and my Garmin was always 0.15 miles ahead of itself - but perhaps thats just my watch!

In short: Stunning relatively flat course
In full: Second year of doing this and would go back again. Stunning relatively flat course with good water stops and plenty of support. Lots of freebies as a nice bonus.

Only minor downside was that it felt more congested than last year, maybe due to more runners and also the start pens seemed more mixed up.

In short: Good course and well organised
In full: The course is a good mixture of London sights and scenic parkland. It was good to be able to see the leaders on the other side on a few occasions. Baggage and loos were good and the drink stations were all very well run. The start also seemed well organised, but timing boards would be useful as each pen is too large to grade runners properly. I started well forward and spent the first mile weaving around slower runners. The mile markers also seemed a little random, especially the first one.

Overall a fun race, if you like large events. Would probably do again.

In short: nice jaunt through hyde park
In full: all went well. organisation was good (baggage tent excepted) and start was on time. route is fine and takes in westminster as well as hyde park. crowds and marshals were good. course was too crowded in places but patience paid off and i got a good time. hope to be back next year - entry system permitting...

In short: Royal Parks lives up to high standard from last year...
In full: Having thoroughly enjoyed this race in 2008 I was delighted to get a place in the fiercely contested online scramble to get in for 2009. This year was once again a superbly organised event showcasing many of the best sights that London has to offer. Excellent organisation and the friendliest and most supportive marshalls I've come across. Plenty of water, never too crowded and great support in the parks. The baggage drop was slow this year but that's down to London underground delaying me more than anything else. More loos this year so great to see them take on feedback from last year and the freebies at the end capped it off perfectly. Will be back for 2010 all being well.

In short: Fantastic race - Loved it
In full: This race is really special. The course couldn't be more scenic; that it is pretty flat as well is a bonus. Organisation was excellent, although more loos are still needed next year. Although it is a pricey race, it is worth every penny. Loved it - will be back again next year, if I can get a place that is!
