In short: Awful, awful, awful...just plain awful In full: This was a seriously awful race. I share all the negative sentiments already aired. The only good thing - t-shirts - that I would easily swap for a better organised race.
We were all supposed to run united for our city in our red tops; instead I felt like I was held prisoner with my fellow inmates subjected to mind-numbing music (not in the good sense) literally hanging around in our pen until the orders came, but when would they?! that we could be released...and when we were it felt like we were rats escaping and running around in this crazy maze of tunnels knowing that freedom from this event lay 10k ahead. T-shirts aside, the only other positive note was that I got a PB, not surprisingly when all I wanted to do was escape from Wembley ASAP!
I will never, ever do this race again and will tell all and sundry that they shouldn't either. For all of us who ran this race, I think Nike can only redeem themselves with us if they let us run for free in their next race in a better location, at a better time and with far better organisation. This race was just so bad that this is the first posting I have made on this site...and that's really saying something!

In short: Concert Afterwards Please In full: Concert should of been afterwards, a way of celebrating the race with friends
No atmosphere along the route - could they not of had music playing or even screens showing how London was doing against the other cities
The one plus side was being able to sprint past Paula Radcliffe near the end (though not for long, as she overtook me again!!!) Date of review: September 1, 2008

In short: Complete lack of detail pre-race In full: Running around a car park and industrial estate in the dark at 8.30pm after being made to stand up waiting for 2 hours certainly isn't my idea of fun. Nice idea, however if Nike decide to do this again how about a 4PM start in a large park ??? Date of review: September 1, 2008

In short: Different In full: I agree with reviews that it was annoying having to wait so long to run and the course was too narrow. I completed the course in 5 minutes slower than my last 10k due to having to dodge the puddles and the people walking after about 3k who annoyingly walked through the middle of the course and put themselves in wave 1! However I did actually enjoy myself, it was good to see Wembley & Paula Radcliffe there and it made a difference running a 10k after a concert, in the dark, in the rain and in a car park! and I liked the t-shirts Date of review: September 1, 2008

In short: You expected the best only to get the best of the worst In full: This is a race you expected to go thoroughly well, but that's were it stopped. I was among the thriving Wave 3 who were sat in the stand for 3hrs watching a concert that nobody seemed bothered about. All we wanted to do was run.
Nike need to organise this a abit better and focus on the runners than their image and music entertainment. Running around the wembley car park in zigzag fashion left you thinking when was it going to stop but then we left and so started the tour of Tesco's car parks and petrol station from both sides that you felt to rename the run as " The Tesco's 10k run" rather than Nike.
At the end you got a t-shirt which was nice but with a race like this i expected a goody bag and i'm sure when i signed up it said everyone got a medal. Did this change into a t-shirt as in to cut down cost? I don't think i would do this race again unles they move back to Hyde Park with a proper race time and above all better organised. In short: Where is my medal??!??! In full: Same as everyone else!! Night time run was not expected and the rain was from biblical times!! Not there fault obviously but maybe if we hadn't been held trapped in the stadium for 2 hours we might have missed it. Would never do this run again, could have been so good but was disorganised and disappointing :( Date of review: September 1, 2008
