In short: Fabulously flat, flawlessly organised, splendid support even in a rural setting In full: Why can't big urban halves be like this? The relatively smattering of support was warm, friendly and informed. Even remote farmhouses were fronted by family members in deck chairs, sipping coffee, cheering us on and offering sweeties. A highlight was an old gnarled fella stood on the side of a road quietly announcing the time elapsed so far to that spot. I bet he was a right racing snake in his younger years. Loved it. In short: Best event so far this year In full: Really enjoyed this race today. Really well organised with good facilities. What helps is tha amount of support you get from both Marshall's and the public at large. I found myself thanking the supporters, some of which were giving out waterAnd jelly babies babies!
