In short: Over 1000 runners attended and only 3 ladies toilets!!!!!!! Organisation could have been better.

In short: Fast course - everything else average
In full: I ran a lot quicker than I thought I would although my actual race time does not match the time on my watch. That is because of the start. Where is the start line? When did the race actually start? Took me 30 seconds at least to get to what I think was the start. I enjoyed the race but the scenerey is nothing spectacular. Most of the race is along a main road with houses. Weather was cold and windy but that didnt bother me. I'll definitely do it again, but as one reviewer stated, I don't see why it is so popular. Support from locals was almost non-existent. Thanks Matt & co for coming to watch.

In short: Chaotic start!
In full: OK, on the upside, it's a fast course. But 1000 runners setting off down a side street caused inevitable falls. No chip timing means people are pushing to the front adding to the problems. The toilet facilities were v poor too. The course is good and flat and on a calmer day would offer a PB. Can't really see why it's so popular.

In short: Flat course, good atmosphere, welcoming
In full: Nice flat course, good atmosphere, lots of club runners but also welcoming for novices. Yes, there were queues for the ladies, no, I didn't hear the start either, but this is a great event and another step towards the FLM for me...

In short: Great flat race.
In full: Was a bit windy and cold this year. No real hassles except that the start was a bit "flat" - no real hype, didnt even know we had started until the hordes started to move forward. Great race t-shirt and good bargins on sale afterwards. Shower facilites also good. Werent that many spectators this year either, but maybe that because it was so cold.

In short: Well organised, great flat race. Shame about the ladies' toilets.
In full: No complaints about the race itself; although I didn't hear the start announced, it wasn't a problem - if everyone else starts running, you do too! Nicely designed t-shirt, and a good flat course. A wee bit windy this year, but at least it didn't snow. The only let-down was the fact that the only ladies' loo I could find before the start was a *single* cubicle, with a queue of about 30 ladies! I did discover after the race that there were other toilets, but they need better signposting. Parking was not a problem if you got there in plenty of time.

In short: An excellent race, well marshalled as usual but the start was a bit quiet at the back of the pack.
In full: An excellent race, well marshalled as usual. Folk who started towards the back of the pack did not hear the start although in fairness the guy on the PA asked us to listen and I could not spot the actual start line itself to enable me to start my watch as I crossed the start. [If it turns out I am both deaf and blind please accept my apologies!] Having said that, these minor concerns did not prevent me securing a PB; not that I am expecting a call to Beijing on the strength of it.

In short: Great, fast course. A large turnout & a good mix of abilities
In full: This was my first ever race last year & I managed to knock over 8 minutes off my time so i was well chuffed. the organisation at the start seemed a lot better this year (although I didn't seem to hear the sound to start the race). Great flat course with plenty of on-route support. Weather was cold and windy. Nice T-shirt too!
