In short: My second time, better this year due to faultless weather for December, if you're only going to run one race ever, do this one - it has everything

In short: A very enjoyable alternative to the usual road race. A tough start short of breath just looking at the Sand dune. Many thank to all involved in making a good race. THANKS......

In short: absolutely brilliant
In full: WOW brilliant race. loads of friendly marshalls and lovely scenery. The weather was sunny and perfect which did help but I really loved everything about it. I normally run on roads so to run up sand dunes over hills and through streams was a lovely change. Thank You all

In short: Apologies to everybody who saw me say goodbye to my breakfast near the golf course ;-)
In full: Set in rural south wales, scenary was lovely (apart from the sewage works). Great atmosphere at the race HQ, marshals were cheerful all the way around. Very well organised. Could do with either mile markers or a route map to help first-timers like to plan my race a bit better. Excellent vfm, shall enjoy my xmas pudding later! This would be a good race for a beginner, as the atmosphere was very friendly and not too "clubby". The only problem would be the big dipper at the start - i don't think you'd convert many people to running after that! A race I'll definitely remember.

In short: Woo! You get to bulid a sand castle with the contents of your shoe!
In full: After running it for the 1st time last year, I thought never again. 5mins after I finished it I thought 'Right, that's me here next year!'.

Magnificent race, fantastic scenery, wonderful organising, great support, excellent value for money (t-shirt, pud & soup). Well done Brackla Harriers!

Absolutely knackering, but a great challenge for anyone.

And yes I did have enough sand on my shoes to make a lovely little sandcastle when I got home..

Here's to the Xmas Pud 2006 - already in my diary!

In short: Didn't know sand dunes could be vertical!
In full: Would definately have benefitted from km markers on the course and maybe water half way round. However the marshalls were really, really good. They cheered and encouraged all the way through which was a great help.
