In short: Hilly!
In full: Hard work this one but a great challenge. I found it v tough but well worth doing. V well organised, very encouraging marshalls, nice atmos, good mix of runners, many of whom seemed to be doing there first half, nice to get a long sleeved tshirt. Can't understand the number of no shows?? May be talked into it again next year!

In short: I LOVED this race so much!! Such an interesting and varied course, stunning views and extremely well organised.
In full: Of the six different half marathons I have done to date this has to be my favourite.

Yes the hills are tough but the views are spectacular (anyone who says otherwise must have been running with their eyes to the ground the whole way round, tsk!) and the overall sense of achievement from completing this, the fantastic organisation, friendly marshalls and general atmosphere was second to none.

Not a PB course but if you don't go looking for one then you won't be disappointed. All the same, lovely and friendly for beginners.

Can't wait for next year!
