In short: May day
In full: This is a nice event that is part of the village spring fete.
The course is reasonably fast, mostly on country roads.
Because of the fete there is plenty for spectators to do.

In short: Nice day out with the fete/fair
In full: Course pleasant enough, but could do with an extra water station or two, especially with the weather as it was this year.

In short: A nice course, a few hills but seemed to be more downhill than uphill overall, even though the start and finish were close to each other! Will be back.

In short: Fun in the sun
In full: A well organised day in the heat.
The people on the water station were working hard as I came passed.
Had to watch the entrance to the garden centre.
Finishing in the fete was nice at the end.

In short: Only one water station was a problem this year in the heat, course is possibly a little short. Problems with Traffic at 1.5k in housing estate nearly got run over and also at 8k near Garden Centre. Finish problems with public colliding with runners.

In short: Good race, well organised and good support.
In full: Pretty warm day made it tough, but the course only has one slight hill, so definite pb potential. In fact pb for me in 2005.
Mayday fair at the start/finish area, so good for families.

In short: A great day out for runners, supporters and families alike!
In full: A bit of a problem with traffic near the garden centre and 8km mark!

Very hot! Needed more water stops and maybe some sponges!

Otherwise fabulous!
