In short: Good Race, managed a PB. Would have been better if the weather wasn't so awful. Big puddles and wind made it quite challenging but a nice atmosphere none the less.

In short: Well organised - nice flat run - windy on the day which made it harder - ran a PB but could have been quicker without the wind - would do again.

In short: Very enjoyable for my first ever race. Did better than I thought due to flat conditions.

In short: Fast and flat. A course for PB's
In full: Although the course is on the outskirts of Portsmouth this is quite a scenic run with views across Hilsea foreshaw and a pleasant section through the IBM complex which takes you round the lake. The course can be a bit narrow in places with a few tight turns. About one mile of the course is run on a pavement next to a busy road, never felt threatened by the traffic though. If you are looking for a fast 5 mile PB put this in your diary for 2007.

In short: Take the wind a way and it would be great
In full: I could not even think about a PB because once I had gone through the flooded path and got knocked over by the wind I was finished. Its very enjoyable for everyone but not for a PB for a average club runner like myself I did enjoy it though but forgot about the time
thanks to the marshalls and everyone

In short: Incredbly windy and slightly wet - course was scenic and flat. Probably would have done a PB without the adverse conditions. Slight problem with parking at the Mountbatten centrre due to another event.

In short: The route was good and adequate for a beginner like myself. My only critism was the changing rooms as I needed a shower to go out afterwards to restaurant.

In short: Only a few twists and turns and slopey bits - but enough to slow you down more than you may initially expect.

In short: Nice run altho facilities confused at sports centre
In full: Lovely fast run around lake, scenic, fast at front and slow enough at the back. Great to get chance to run on running track!

Nice organisation.

One complaint- sports centre holding a boxing competition at the same time leading to much confusion- my family were refused entry at the front door etc. Facilities at sports centre tiny bit grotty.

Overall nice race, would do again!
