In short: The race that sets the standard for all others
In full: This is a race for runners that is so obviously organised by runners. There is an eye for detail that surpasses anything in its category. Everything - marshalling, traffic management, fabulous medal, goody bag and T shirt, even the weather ! The 'little extras' that come with this race make a real difference - a portaloo 'commissionaire' (marshal), a massive well organised (and free) baggage area, a T shirt try on desk, and a huge number of 'physios' doing (almost free) pre and post race massages. Providing running pacers was also a great idea. And of course, the wonderful Kelly Holmes - a national treasure - to hand me my medal. Definitely one of the 'must do' half marathons in the calendar. Well done, and a very big thank you' to everyone involved in the race organisation.

In short: Well organized and challenging half marathon
In full: A well organized event with some challenging hills between miles 5 and 8. One thing for the organizers to note is to sort out the correct positioning of the mile markers. When a course is officially measured, the measurer will have given you detailed description of the precise location of the mile markers. Please use these, rather than what appears to have happened, someone going around and putting up markers based on a gps or equivalent. Given that a half marathon is 13 miles 176 metres in distance, it should be fairly clear to you that something isn't right when your 13 mile marker is placed 75 metres before your 200m to go sign!!! Otherwise a very well organized event!!

In short: Great well organised race
In full: The hills were tough but this race was really enjoyable to run in. Managed to knock ten minutes off my time from last year. Was good to see Kelly holmes there at the finish handing out medals. A great Goodie Bag and T-shirt. So i will be back again next year to run!

In short: First time for this race. So tough be will definately be back! Well done TW Harriers
In full: I was sort of dreading this race as I certainly do NOT embrace hills and had heard many horror stories but thought I would give it a try as it will be good training for my April Marathon. However, as soon as I'd crossed the line I was ready to book for next year! Brilliant organisation, fantastic marshalls, excellent goodie bag (although we did forget to collect our free 'T') and Dame Kelly gave me my medal. This is how a race should be. Brilliant job TW Harriers, thank you. But, my goodness, do I ache!!
