In short: Fantastic!...could do with a few more hills though.
In full: One of the best races out there (and not just because of the cakes!). Fantastic organization as usual and a great course.

In short: Good, honest and hard race.
In full: I've run this race 7 times in the last ten years and believe the new bits of the course make it even better. About 11.5 miles, half in the vale and half on chalk uplands. Mud,water and very steep hills in glorious scenery. Thanks to the marshalls and all helpers. I'll be back.

In short: Brilliant race that was superbly organised.
In full: Excellent organisation and stunning scenery went together to make this a really good race. Just before the halfway point I was beginning to think what an easy race it was... and then saw people hauling themselves up the first hill using rope to help them. Wanted to try to keep running up the hills but by the 3rd hill my legs needed to take it slightly more slowly.

In short: Very Tough but worth it.
In full: Well done to the running club. Very well organised. Great value for money and great t-shirt. Well done to st John's, The tea and cake ladies, marshals etc! Great changing facilities and parking. Plenty of hills, mud and water. Much more difficult than the 'Rough N Tumble' in Jan!

In short: Lovely race - very hard but great atmosphere and lovely scenery!
In full: Very good, hard multi-terrain race with great organisation, lovely atmosphere, beautiful scenery and fantastic cakes - what more could you ask! I think they've made it harder and longer than it used to be a few years back - but then I'm a few years older so I guess it would seem harder!! Thanks Pewsey Vale Running Club!

In short: Muddy, Wet, Painful but Tremendous!
In full: This is one of the hardest races I have ever done, but also one of my favourites. Hills so hard they could make you cry and mud galore. The excellent weather made this race with views to die for. Pewsey Vale Running Club excel once again with the best organisation I have ever seen.
