In full: Can't quite get my head around the positive organisation comments. It must have been very bad in previous years. Getting to the start was a nightmare because of the massive bottleneck and I finally managed to start 6 minutes after the race had started. The streets were also to narrow in places to cope with that volume of runners and what was with the road cones everywhere to stop the runners spreading across the whole of the main road? Okay, I accept emergency vehicles have to get through but I saw a number of people run into cones and it would have been much simplier and easier to open the road out completely. Apart from these gripes it was a good quick course, but perhaps Bath could take a look at Reading and how well they organise an event where so many people are paticipating

In short: Brilliant this year.
In full: Last time I did this in 2009 the organisation was poor. This year it all went swimmingly and I enjoyed every minute!

In short: Ist half marathon, deffo do it again even though suffered last 4 miles with sore knees.
In full: A brilliant race, especially for a first timer at half marathon distance. Crowds totally supportive, organisational blip at start having to walk round the rugby ground, took too long, too many people in a narrow space. No large t shirts at end, guess I will have to improve my time for next year. Park and ride at racecourse was excellent.
Helped a guy across the finish with severe cramp...Andrew Pepler....if you read this or know him...just wondering how if you recovered ok...

In short: One of the Best
In full: I love this race - a big crowd, all friendly, lots of noise, great PB potential, great goodie bag and runs like clockwork. As others have said the finish was better organised this year and I managed to get through and pick up my bag from storage within about 2 minutes of finishing - better than last years 25 minutes!!

The runners village works well and the support in the town is fantastic - probably up there with the best supported races.

From registering you get supportive emails, the pack tells you everything you need to know. All in all - great. If only all races were like this.

I will be back next year. Well done organisors and the people of Bath

In short: MUCH Better, Bath Half Organisers!
In full: This was my 6th Bath Half in a row: and previous year's organisation had been dire. This year was heaps better with a lot of the creases ironed out.

Helpful, friendly marshall/stewards/helpers, great entertainment on route and still the best supportive crowd ever.

A little frustrating at times trying to weave round slower runners (and I'm not speedy!) : but what you'd expect from a big event.

Nice.
