In short: Great organisation and support
In full: I can't fault this race, the supporters turned out despite the awful weather and really added to the atmosphere, the road closures must have taken a fair bit of organisation and everything seemed to run smoothly. The last 2 miles were a complete killer with the rain, sea and wind all driving you backwards but apart from that I loved it.

In short: Brilliant organisation/course, hard weather
In full: The last two miles along the seafront were just not runnable cos of the wind and rain (and perhaps my lack of fitness)

In short: Windy, rainy, freezing ... but still a great day!
In full: The organisation of this race and the atmosphere were brilliant; I really enjoyed it, but if they could do something about the weather next year I'd really appreciate it! Running into the rain and wind the last 2 miles was a killer!

In short: Once again terrible weather, but what an amazing race...
In full: GSR is always good, this is the third year I have entered and the second year the wind and rain have entered to, but this never dampens the spirits of the runners, the volunteers and the supporters... and this year I got a PB...if any ones contemplating doing this run...Just Do it...

In short: Once again, this run is sheer pleasure!
In full: This event is fantastic, whilst the start this year was a little delayed, and the weather was once again unkind, the course, support and organisation is just worth the expense to enter. Got to be a guaranteed PB every time!
