In short: Great for speed and for not feeling like the slowest runner out there

In short: Good fun, lovely atmoaphere, friendly people
In full: I did my first Castle Coombe in November as an almost beginner and it felt incredibly welcoming and friendly. I came back because it is hassle free ion getting there and parking on arrival. Great stress free event.

In short: Organisation was fantastic
In full: This was my second 10K and although more runners would have helped the atmosphere, I realy enjoyed it (despite the wind). It also helped finding someone else runnig at my pace (a bonus with a small number of runners) to help me along as laps are certainly a mental challenge. The organisation was brilliant.

In short: A bit over priced but well organised
In full: A nice run but I also find doing laps a bit of a mental challenge. The brief at the beginning of the run leading you up to the start line was good - no confusion as to where we were going!! Good mile markers and friendly people on the water station. The scenery gets a bit boring and sadly there weren't enough runners to create a really good atmosphere, however a couple of other competitors I spoke to were very friendly. Great commentry at the finish line and very accurate finish times. I did think the event was a little overpriced but would definitely do it again.

In short: Windy!
In full: Not a PB course - well, not yesterday, anyway. Excellent running surface but laps are always a mental challenge for me. Good organisation but more people would have made it more enjoyable.

In short: Friendly people, windy course and the cafe make a mean chilli!
In full: Always an excellently organised event followed by the Chilly Duathlon. Very friendly and the cafe always does great bacon/sausage rolls and excellent chilli! Although it is an inevitably windy course because it is so open a dip in the hot tub after the run makes it worthwhile. Well done Will, another great event! See you in November!

In short: Good, well organised race.
In full: Great to run totally traffic free course, and I agree very spectator friendly. Being on a motor racing circuit, the temptation is to start off a bit too fast, and there was a strong headwind for approx 3rd of each lap, but on a good day, this course could certainly get you a PB. Just pick the racing line!
