In short: Good race, but some of the marked kilometres seemed a bit short.
In full: Fine weather and no mud meant a fast course, despite the long uphills. I would have described the course as multiterrain rather than trail, though, as there was a good deal of metalled road. Like others, I'm concerned that the overall distance may have been short, as my time over some marked kilometres was surprisingly quick. Pity, as my time was nearly 5 minutes faster than at Highclere a month ago! Pity too that finishing positions were not recorded.

In short: Great route and fun run atmosphere. Not for serious runners.
In full: Organsised very much as a fun run. The course isn't nearly as challenging as the publicity makes out, being run mostly on good hard tracks and roads. No permit, and the course is definitely well short of 10k. Careful measurement on gmap pedometer gets it nearer to 9k. Recommended for beginners and fun runners who want a pleasant run, but don't quote your time as a valid pb!

In short: A nice run, bit dangerous in the muddy parts, lots of uphills but loved the constant downhill from 8K!! Great prizes.

In short: Tidworth 9.5K maybe?
In full: well organised and scenic but if i'm running a race advertised as 10K the least i expect is that it WILL actually be 10K! I thought i'd run a PB until i found out it was at least quarter of a mile short :o(

In short: Great run, well organised and nice off road sections - not quite 10k but that does not really matter as the hills make up for it.

In short: One of the nicest and best 10kms I have done this year...
In full: The route was excellent, a real mix of hills and flat, lovely views across Salisbury Plain, I could imagine tho in the rain it cud be a nitemare, but we were blessed with a perfect autumn day. Good quality t-shirt, excellent medal (dog-tag which was a really nice idea) and I got one of my best times for months....and raised money for a local charity...
