In short: Extremely well organised, marshalled and supported. Loved the idea of sponges at the water stops - other races could pinch that idea.

In short: Great Value & Exceptional Organisation
In full: I agree with all the other reviews about the very good organisation and support for a mere £12. A special mention must be made for the lovely start and finish area where you could buy a decent coffee or bacon sandwich and relax in a tranquil setting to calm pre-race jitters. The 9am start is a great idea to avoid the heat of the day, miss the worst of the traffic and still have most of Sunday to enjoy (or recover).

In short: Very well organised and great value.
In full: Normally do the Richmond Half at this time of year, which is dead flat, and pretty scenic in parts, but Bracknell was much more enjoyable if a bit more challenging. Support and organisation here made it special for me.

In short: Lovely half marathon
In full: I have run this half marathon before and was looking forward to coming back. Parts of the course are familiar from my regular local running routes, but the crowd support on the day makes it special. I didn't even notice the hills today as they are gradual and I was taking it easy, just to get around. Very nice goody bag & great organisation.

In short: My first half marathon finishing in 1hr 27m. It was very well marshalled with very friendly spectators and a great crowd at the finish. A very pleasant morning's run.

In short: The best half in the area
In full: Once again this race showed up the bigger halfs in the area, flawless all round, even the weather! Also if you attack the uphills then definite pb potential, what more could you ask for!

In short: Bracknell comes of age - at 25
In full: Really good run this year - for the 25th annual event. Organisation was flawless, the course (mostly) flat and fast - and the water / sponge teams were superb ! Thanks !

This is a course of 3 halves (forgive the pun):- Part 1 is a flat, pleaseant run through the park and some local streets. Part 2 gets more serious with a series of long, gentle slopes - mostly uphill it seems. Part the third is a good finish - mostly flat or gently sloping down through some tight corners into the Park to sprint for the crowd.

In fact the course seemed hillier this year (not sure why) and just FYI I counted we crossed under 18 underpasses.

Also - we had a wonderful comedy moment just before the start when our starter was asking if there were any entrants dressed up as animals. Try as he might he could not find one and seemed disappointed - not knowing there was a huge costumed cartoon dog right behind him !
