In short: Well organised, some inclines, PB potential
In full: The weather was perfect, cool, damp and almost no wind, great organisation and marshalling, nice kids race before the main event, and I got a PB, and results availbale online very quickly. Well done to the organisers.

In short: Done this for the last three years and it just gets better and better. It'll be an ever present fixture until I hang up my trainers!
In full: Loads of support considering the weather. Marshalls brilliant as always. Scenery fantastic. Topped up my t-shirt cupboard. Thank you to all at Hinckley RC for all your efforts - you really do make it a special event. Thanks and see you next year.

In short: Top race
In full: It might be my clubs event but I'd recommend this to anyone. Not the fastest half-marathon but fast races aren't everything.

In short: Great race despite the rain
In full: Yes the rain dampens the atmosphere a little but it wasn't too heavy and you hardly blame the organisers for the weather. Todays conditions were excellent for running. Well organised with friendly marshals (despite the weather).
My only gripe was the narrowness of the start. Chip timing or a wider start would help but it's not a major thing.
Bananas at the end were a godsend, and a nice t-shirt too.

In short: THe best race I've done over the past 12 months. Scenic route, friendly marshalls and locals - and I loved the rain.
In full: Good T-shirt and goody bag too. This race was recommended to me - what good advice!

In short: enjoyable - but bloomin wet!
In full: I did enjoy that - got a PB, and the t-shirt at the end is a good'un - mars bar and bananas much appreciated as well :o)

Pity about the weather though, cos although it was good for running in, it did dampen (sorry about the pun) the atmosphere and the supporteres were in dribs and drabs, but still very much appreciated!

Had a bit of a problem finding the start too -I know that sounds stupid, but because we'd driven in the opposite way to where the start was set up, there weren't any signs to show you where to go! (Did ask some helpful marshalls though and we got there eventually!)
